Human Readable RVMUpPck.inf for RVMUpdatePack 2.0.6

Post by Scappy » Wed May 31, 2006 3:55 pm

Can someone please post or PM "human readable" copy of
RVMUpPck.inf for RVMUpdatePack 2.0.6

I can't read the copy included with the cab archive because
it is encrypted or garbbled.

It is basically needed for security reasons, and to avoid
applying duplicate addons and registry tweaks already
included with RyanVM.

Plus, I always need to know upfront, what changes an
application intend to make to my system--it's just an habit.

Thanks.

you need to extract the file. It is currently a .in_ file.

In the dir of the inf, run the following:

Code: Select all

extract /r RVMUpPck.in_

Thanks, I had to setup cabsdk then execute the
above command and it works.

I made some changes to wmp10.in_ , how do I
recompress it to it's original state.

Thanks.

Do you mean I should read the whole links just to find-out how to
recompress an .in_ archive?

Anyway, my big thanks to kind people who are willing to help without
being sarcastic.
