one thing i noticed today... while browsing some styles.... is that this style could look a little better if it had lines, like in iceman's version

Image

just a suggestion, i still dig your style dude. :)

ok i think its better i say than not..

well kel it's good u've made so many wonderful releases, but i'm sorry i will need to criticize your release/file naming isn't very good.

first of all for sakes of sorting.. (now nobody bothers really in this one)

it's good to name files something like
Theme_ThemeName-BuildDate(rather than version)-packager(kel).ext
ok, this is more trivial than crucial..

but for this release... you've named it:

Kels_Brushed_Inspirat_addon_v1.cab (replacement)
Kels_Brushed_Inspirat_addon.cab

alright, true that I can rename the files... but for sakes of mine and others ease and seriously for your own sakes, lets say you have so many packages in future .. dont you think u'll lose track? isn't it better to give it some proper naming

how about

theme-binspirat-060710-Kel.7z
theme-binspirat-replc-060710-Kel.7z (replacement version)

and in future if you wanna make new builds, u can post the changes in a changelog

one other thing ive noticed... when i was updating my theme 'repository' i found that your OSMINIMAL 1.4 -- you updated the file without changing the version. now if i had not paid attention, i would have not updated it and used the older version, since file versions are the same. well its good taht i notice you updated the post by looking at the edited datestamp.

dont get me wrong, you've been doing great work, but i think this can be a major improvement to all your releases or some of it at least.

^^^ Yeah, I've noticed that several themes do that, Foton I believe is one, maybe it is just a wider type face that overrunns its alotment.....

Anybody out there ever figure out a workaround to this? It's always my favorite themes that have this problem.

Thanks and good work kel  I'll rename them myself, by the way..... nobody would like the way I name mine.

Kel,
just found this!

After opening the cab packs, looks like the only difference between the two is that the replacement addon has an extra Luna file. Is that all you need to add to make it the default theme? Does that mean it overwrites Luna?

http://hills-roppongi.deviantart.com/ar ... le-5628727 <---- With this? Huh?

I don't really see the need for an update as I can't find an actual update to it.

Unless you know of one.

It's the font - some words are broken ... Can you fix it, I like this theme. It's clean - easy to the eye and color are subtle(relax), I can work long hours without strain to the eye. :)

Once again Thanks....

The theme came with no custom fonts and I don't really fancy ripping someone elses work up to try and fix the font. I am sorry but it will have to stay as is.

Sorry short on time so it is a silent installer not a true addon.

But hey it still works.

Thanks Kels...

I would love this... and still hope that you would finally create a true add-on on this theme.

:D

Ooops: What's the difference between "silent installer" and "true add-on"?

Someone with this theme could please share it?
This theme would be perfect for me. Sober, simple and very pleasing.

I find it disheartening that a good number of the addons available (and some of them quite interesting) are not maintained :(

Someone please revive this theme.
