Hey Kel, what program do you use to make your themes?......stylebuilder or something else.

The HighSpins v2 Cursors are a great match for the Green, Pink and Blue Color variations of this Mod, heck thers even an Orange one for the Zune theme

Nice Job Kels

Kel, I noticed you left out a "midnight.theme" file in this addon.....that may be by design or simply overlooked, anyway just letting you know.

Classic?

Post by RaGhul » Mon Nov 06, 2006 9:27 pm

OK, I've tried this TWO ways now: as an Addon to XP, and also extracting the .cab files and applying the .theme files manually.

Both ways, I don't get a Zune-type theme. I get a Midnight color variation of the Windows Classic theme.

Am I doing something wrong here?

You have to have your uxtheme, dll patched for this one 'cause I hacked the hell outta Zune therefore making it no longer signed.

I hope everyone likes the new walls.

Just a tip for some:
If you're still having trouble with the themes, you can also patch UXTHEME.DLL in OPTIONS thru nLite. For some reason, the themes didn't work right for me until I did this. Of course, I've hacked the hell out of my XP cd, so it could've been anything!!

Thx, Kel!!

The autopatching code in the addon won't work under nLite, RaGhul, so your solution makes sense if you're using nLite to integrate this addon.

Perhaps Kel should mention that this addon now requires the RVM Integrator for the autopatching code to work.

Thx for the tip.

You think it's better to integrate themes with Integrator or nLite?

For anything requiring patched files I'd recommend the Integrator because Siginet and Zacam have done a hell of a job, but the choice is yours really. I don't know how nuhi works his magic in nLite, but patching files "as needed" can't be triggered by an addon when integrated with nLite yet.

On the Options -> Patches page of nLite is an option for patching uxtheme.dll.. been there for a while.
