Hehehe, well, msconfig is easy enough to 'Run' to... (plz forgive the pun), and I absolutely HATE the messages it gives you (before and AFTER restart as well). I heard a rumor that Microsoft used it as a basis for Vista's UAC, lol.
Plus, I think Startup.CPL is more powerful. It actually completely erases the Reg entry. Really good for removing WLM from the startup, as well as some spyware.
And Bootvis, well... I just didn't see it doing anything for me. Also, once I found out it was actually an MS tool, I lost even MORE faith in it. After the first few nlite'd disks I made, I stopped using it, even though it was still in the Control Panel. Those other apps I mentioned previously actually DO make boot up much faster.
