You can edit the INF to customize the settings of the program, here are some quick instructions on how you do this (I may add more program options to edit in the future)
- Decompress the AddOn to a sub-dir (if you have WinRAR you can edit the INF file without decompressing)
- Now scroll down and locate the following section:

Code: Select all

Well, if you just add the usual menu items to the pack then it should be easy to edit them out for those who what to do that.

I'm still learning how to build things........

definitely better than boogys version, who don't ever seem bothered with labeling releases properly. shell ext on recycle bin is great, rather than setting it manually all the time. i like your stuff rick. keep it up.

very cool, having all of the options and shortcuts in the inf files of an otherwise vanilla install gives the rest of us a chance to learn from your work. Should keep your workload down too as 'the rest of us' have some nice work to play with.

Thanks and Happy Christmas!

Desktop shortcut

Post by dolivas » Tue Feb 06, 2007 9:58 am

Hi Rick excellent work on this I would like to know how I would remove the desktop shortcut icon Is that possible by just removing the addshortcut option in the INF file? Also would it be possible to just add it to the Quick Launch tool bar?

Thanks,
Dean

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

The last download I got for boooggy's ccleaner has a cab file only yours has a cab and ini and inf file.

So I thought I would ask.

You Tech Geeks should learn should actually get out of the house once and a while and talk to real people it might help with your tolerance level.

I have one of booogys old ccleaner addons MyTempDir

Now open it... You see the inf and ini file? (the inf is pre compressed with makecab, its ccl.in_)

Like I said you don't know what you are talking about, you probably mixed up the cab inside the addon with the program files with Boooggy_CCleanerAddon.cab
