the fish eyed effect is a pinch to strong in the lower part in screens scale with a pinch to much of the effect
same for that contrasts brightness effect or what ever its called ;)
the white takes a pinch to pail over the clear type makes it looks abit fuzzy
this can very well be little problems that show on my screen only :P

overall looks much cleaner
great !!nice job !
thanks for sharing the update :D

@Rick,
What's the difference between this and LunaRoyale? They look nearly identical to me? (Don't mean to nitpick. Thx for the up, but if I can save myself an Addon, well...)

This one aims to be much more similar to the Aero theme than LunaRoyale.

Thanks Pgase and ricktendo64!

Thanx really love your theme. Just wish you would change one little thing.
Make the close, minimize and maximize buttons look like vista.

You know like this:

Vista: Image

Your theme: Image

Hope you can take a little criticism

Thanx again for your nice theme

I like those buttons also, but the theme is called Vistaluna Basic... Basic being the keyword, as in Vista Basic theme not Aero

Id also love a Vista Classic theme or substyle Preview ;)

I haven't get a success when integrating themes to my iso.
What program should I use? Nlite or RyanVM Integrator?
Is there any step to do after add the Rar file?
I just use VistaLuna Basic. Must I use the clock addons?

Thanks in advance.

You dont need the clock addon. This works with both nLite and the Integrator, with nLite add it in the Hotfixes tab & with the integrator add it in with the addons (hold down the CTRL button)

I tried to add with Integrator. Using just this theme.
When I install windows I just get this on preview...

when I press apply I got this...

Looks like the visual themes is disabled.
What could I be miss rick? Hope you can figure out what went wrong...

Thanks

The uxtheme.dll patch is not applied by this theme. Zacam is updating his patch addons (AFAIK). A few of the theme addons around the forums will break an XP install because of faulty uxtheme.dll patching. Best option: Don't patch uxtheme.dll with a theme addon, either use Zacam's system patches or let nLite do it for you.

thx mr_smartepants for your quick reply...

so I have to download file from zacam below :

Multi-Patch: UXTHEME.DLL
Allows for the use of Themes that are not Digitally Signed by M$ (ex: created by StyleBuilder).
Versions:
6.0.2900.2180, XP SP2
6.0.2900.2523, KB319740, RVM 1.2.0 - 2.0.4
6.0.2900.2845, KB908536, RVM 2.0.5 - Current

PatchAddon_UXTHEME_v13c.cab
MD5: 0129EA2060437BAC6A8E3BC83D8588AF
SIZE: 594 bytes

So I have to use nLite to add uxtheme addon and vistaluna altogether at once or one by one?

If you use nLite just patch uxtheme, if you use the integrator it does it automatically using enties.ini (if you are using the latest integrator beta check with zacam or siginet for the new hexedit)

You dont need to overwrite the luna.th_ file to set your default windows theme if you use unattended and winnt.sif

I use nLite and I have a entries.ini with the folowing to do EditFile to add the custom default theme to winnt.sif

Code: Select all

[AddDirective]
WINNT.SIF,Shell

[EditFile]
WINNT.SIF,Shell,DefaultTheme

[DefaultTheme]
CustomDefaultThemeFile="%ResourceDir%\Themes\Royale.theme"
Explanation: This adds a [Shell] section to winnt.sif (if you dont do this then you will get a EditFile Error)

Code: Select all

[AddDirective]
WINNT.SIF,Shell
This looks for the [Shell] section and adds the CustomDefaultThemeFile line to it

Code: Select all

[EditFile]
WINNT.SIF,Shell,DefaultTheme

[DefaultTheme]
CustomDefaultThemeFile="%ResourceDir%\Themes\Royale.theme"

Everything work fine after using zacam uxtheme multipatch rick.

But I'm curious about your method... how can I patch uxtheme using nLite? without multipatch uxtheme? I already download nLite 1.4 Beta

Is there integrator beta? I'm using RVM Integrator 1.4.3

Thanks Rick
