[RELEASE] THEME PACK Brilliant

Post by dgelwin » Thu Nov 17, 2005 9:41 pm

ok here is a release ill make it short.

info on theme found HERE!!

download found HERE!! md5 = DF140C99B08194D504D8A70B143E19C5

if you wish to make this theme load as the default theme with all icons and styles from first boot plz download and integrate this tiny addon found HERE!! md5 = ADF62B5532ABA9CB5EEB43F98F1E3353

now it should be obvious but if its not, in order to install the addon to make this theme default you must have the actual theme addon integrated as well.

--note in order to apply and remove iconsets and explorerbar for this theme the shortcuts are located in accesories\themes\brilliant

--note, if anyone finds an interesting logon, or cursor pack that suits this theme plz post a link to them and i will try to create complementary addons out of them for this pack :D

hahaha, xable so far your the only one who has noticed, and yes the extra inf are for easier editing, but more importantly for easier updating, thats why my updates are so small ;)

--edit also 2 of the inf, are used in the shortuts for applying reg settings and icons to go with theme, also for reversing changes made
thats the good part about inf, you can point to the same entry with and addreg or delreg so you can make and unmake changes easily

trust me it helps a lot, when you want to update a component of your addon without affecting the pack as a whole, example if someone can tell me of a logon to find and use, the inf that controls the logon would automatically apply, without me having to redo the entire pack jijijiji :D

@avneet25, and yeah your right the screeny did look much better, try changing your resolution to as high as it can go, and changing icon size to 48 like they have in the screeny, it still doesnt look that hot but hey its an improvement, also i didnt like the icons that it came with that much, the folder icon especially annoys me. the theme i liked most was powder, im finishing testing it right now may release it later.

Perhaps if he had kindly asked in a seperate thread someone might have taken him up on his offer, but he would have first had to have uploaded the files somewhere so that people had the oppertunity to download them to work with them, a snapshot of them too would also be of assistance...

Thank you for your comment.
I am afraid I do not see the legitimiacy in your comment and I believe that the drastic action you took was not justified. At no point had it been my intention to express any anger through the use of capital letters.I am afraid I have not the abilitity to look at the screen while I am typing. When I realised that the capslock had been onI did not feel like re-writing the whole thing.
However your action had the effect of me being portrayed as an un reasonable forum member.I wouuld have appreciated my views to be considered first so that any misundersatnding on my intentions were dissipated. However, thank you for your comments but erasing my post was not necessary

@powerdove, dont get sad, Ryan has even flagged me out for yelling, he is just trying to keep his site clean, in this forum we are in his domain and abide by his rules. next time just learn from experience and avoid the all caps scenario. :D

MS format?

Post by the_doc735 » Sun Oct 29, 2006 10:48 am

PAUL_365
Its also unfair to post these packs allowing your users to break there dos based installs without a warning.
Please also note, the next version of the Integrator will warn of these errors during Integration.
Edit.
It's Probably a good idea to also make the [filenames] section also 8.3

Code: Select all

Code:
[filenames]
addonsinf=UserPass2.inf
If MicroSoft keeps it 8.3 So should You.
This theme breaks the 8.3 MS format rule!!
