Looks as though it only works when the profile path is relative. If you use absolute paths in profiles.ini then it does not pick up the correct profile:

Works if you click the 'Request Ticket' link followed by the 'Download' link.

uTorrent was the only one that worked for me as well. Just a pity that uTorrent has problems in Vista. Had to download from a VMWare VM running XP.

When it failed I tried running in compatability mode to see if it made any difference. It didn't. I do also have UAC disabled.

Does not work for me on Vista 32 bit when integrating Ryan's update pack. It gets to the point where it says:

Clearing any Read Only Attributes

then it crashes.

Inf files are compiled to pnf files by calling pSetupInfCacheBuild in setupapi.dll ( only works on Xp / W2003 - not W2K or Vista ). This also produces an INFCACHE.1 file from the compiled pnf files. How does it integrate the .exe installers like JRE505.EXE ? The only files allowed are those with a .cab extension.

I know its easy enough to manually add them to the [SetupHotfixesToRun] section.

HAve you considered adding support for the switchless installers?
