If someone is willing to maintain the code or keep it under development. I will put it up on bitbucket.org as an open-source project.
It is written in C# and needs Visual Studio 2010 to compile (but it targets .NET 2.0 so it runs on .NET 2.0 and upwards).

The correct way is to add the wmp installer in the top textbox (where it says path to wmp redistributable) and the hotfixes only in the hotfixes box. (wmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exe is not a hotfix. That is the wmp installer). I am not sure how it passed when you did the same in x64. If it did, then th...

@5eraph, no actually. At first, it used to do that (it would lose focus when that happened), but then it transitioned to searching for CAB file header inside the EXE and extracting it. (This is similar to how 7z extracts SFX Cabs). The particular error mentioned above is due to the incorrect additio...

VirtualBox mainly for the remote RDP support (and its ability to copy / paste across RDP). I hated VMware's VNC implementation because of that (and the slowness) Also VMware is now bloated with stuff I don't use and VirtualBox just works. Although one thing against VirtualBox is that you're more lik...

So far, I haven't got any spare time at all to do this. Part of the problem is that the specifications of an e...

If you integrate redxii's pack and then run the slipstreamer and pass the wmp11 version of that hotfix with the hotfixes, it will handle overwriting the files affected in question correctly. However there maybe some extraneous entries left in the registry that reference the WMP9 version of the fix. ...

For nLite you add the hotfixes as if you are adding normal hotfixes for direct integration. nLite handles the rest. For the integrator, yes, you launch it using that method or in a batch file after it finishes. The command line is correct except for a little syntax error: Put a quote (in the place w...

Yes, it seems so. Windows seems to recursively read folders in the ASMS folder looking for .man (manifest) files that point to the actual dll names (which can be compressed) in the same folder and a cat file (that can also be compressed) that is also referenced by this .man and signs it and the dlls...

FGCBA *does* support [Strings] correctly. It automatically substitutes variables while processing. The only problem is that because it does not have a true ini parser, it sometimes incorrectly misidentifies any data between 2 %s in a line as a variable, producing extra (useless) warnings. This has b...

I have identified the issue, it is due to a small bug in the IniParser that causes it to parse the key (which was stripped from quotes during processing) instead of the entire line with quotes as a CSV, so it was taking the value of the first quoted entity (in one of the INFs, this is the Network sh...
