To grace the final release I believe it would be a great idea to bundle a currently maintained 3rd party web browser as complimentary. Something chromium based would both satisfy most meltdown and spectre virus concerns as windows 10 has decided to include chromium core web browsing as the next gen...

don't suppose someone could make a patch for TLS i mean for machines that can't run POS updates (I have a pentium III PC it doesn't have MMX2) I would be delighted to test the POS version in my pentium 3 xp installation..... to see if its mmx compatable (then maybe it could be ported to windows 2000...

nlite hasn't been officially tested with posready and there are slight differences between posready and windows xp not all patches work as expected. there are premade packs that include posready patches they are probably best way to use them

Re: How to activate Windows XP online in 2018
I activated retail xp pro successfully in January this year on my pentium 3.
All I did was correct date and time.
I was sure to backup the system afterwards too lol.
but i don't use posready so i'd say activate then regedit for pos ready.

posready isn't compatible with MMX anymore so pentium III and older won't work well thus you'd need to label it Windows XP P4+ POS

Well I think Microsoft are gonna get a reboot eventually. I've been visiting www.reactOS.org and yes they had court appearences and won against the draconians. What really gets me frustrated is manually patching an OEM windows. The fact its not designed to be slipstreamed. What a bloated piece of tr...
