That "file not available" page was AWESOME! So awesome that I want to make it the header for all my daily reports that everyone calls me on the next day with questions that were clearly answered in the report I sent them the previous day. No worries, I'll just go make my own addon for this...

Thanks for the replies everybody. I really do appreciate it when others are willing to help. BTW, I had mentioned I was not using any addons or patches. I had also seen the threads MrNxDmX mentioned, but for some odd reason the path variable did not take effect until after a restart. That really thr...

Congratulations! Who needs sleep when you can have 2 children instead? ;) I had wished my first was a boy (growing up in a major metropolitan area and all), but my little girl is plenty scrappy so I'm not worried in the slightest anymore. Little girls are so much fun! They also do less collateral da...

The question still stands though: What third party application works better than the Windows defragmenter that will allow me to defragment terabyte volumes? I deal in terabytes per day, per machine, and sometimes per hour in the raw video editing realm. I can say that PerfectDisk (since v6) has yet...

It's not just that the built in defrag works slower, it's that it just plain doesn't work in some situations. Free space consolidation is one of them, and large files is another. Not to mention I've noticed a huge difference allowing PerfectDisk to manage my layout.ini files versus XP doing it in id...

OK, got it working now. All you really need to do is add 3 lines to winnt.sif, and place the flat build directories in your OEM directory to use your IEAK builds in your unattended setup CD. [Branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes IEBrandingFile="%OEM%\INS\WIN32\EN\INSTALL.INS" On a side note, those w...

I just use Open in IE since IETab still fails in certain situations I would need it to work, and I don't believe it's the fault of the extension. That still leaves me with an IE window though. I would love to use an actual IE build (mine or official with a modified ins and cabs included) so that I c...

Thank you for that link Xable, but I will still (unfortunately) be stuck with IE in one form or another. Be it Maxthon (still not usable in environments that verify client version information) or the latest IE7 incarnation there are still things I must do that simply require the IE engine with all i...

IE7, IEAK7, and integration?
OK, here's my first real question post here. *crosses fingers* How's about a little backstory, since I can't seem to make sense of myself without it. ;) It's been a long day... I'm sure a few of you are familiar with the Internet Explorer Administration Kit and what it does. Well, I use it mostly to...
