more versions
it affects versions 2005 and below. they put a patch for 2006 for it and say making a patch for 2005. so it just isnt 2003. And so far every single customer I have uses v2005 or below. Also, (I may be wrong on this) I have noticed that the update download they have on there site isn't everything. I ...

true
That is very true. I was wondering the same thing about quickbooks. At this point I know they don't make updates for any of there old versions any more to force people to upgrade. So I install xp, install quickbooks, run the updater then install IE7 since the updater wont be needed any more. So in t...

nope
no im not kidding. I know Microsoft *knows* better, weather or not they do it is the question. They knew what would happen if IE7 broke things, I don't think every single person at M$ is evil. just the management. Its a Dilbert cartoon fro crying out loud. There programmers have skill, but they can ...

update pack
thing is, is if IE7 is added to the update pack I can no longer use the update pack as long as IE7 will be in it. Until IE7 is updated to fix the breaking it does (which I doubt will happen) I have to stay away from it on certain customers computers. Of course until I look into quickbooks claims tha...

IE 7 confirmed breaks some apps (such as Quickbooks)
I had read on the forums here the IE7 may break some programs. well a lot of my customers use quickbooks, from 2003 and up and turns out IE7 breaks quickbooks. http://www.quickbooks.com/helpcenter/IE7ResourceCenter.aspx I know there has been some issues if IE7 should be in the update pack, but I don...

Bug
I installed your 1.2.2 pack and installed it on a computer. works great but one problem. When I view a network share drwatson shows up in the processes and closes every single window that is open to any share. I installed an older version with pack 1.2 and it doesnt have the problem. Also if I right...

I agree
I agree it may be worth it, but I made many changes to the text setup of xp so I can use the F6 option. With an unattended xp cd you cant use the F6 option. Well my cd doesnt use the unattened switch but it is totaly unattened thus allowing me to use F6 :-D Now I have done more than that but all my ...

to much work
My suggestion is to start on a fresh CD with nothing extra added and work your way up bit by bit. This is what I said the first time is I have put a LOT of extra work into it, it isnt a standard unattended setup cd. So to redo so much work just to add some windows updates cant be justified. Not a b...

files
the only hacked files I use is the uxtheme.dll and thats it. I have added files into the setup and done some other work. not to mention added like 500 drivers at once with nlite. If you have msn or yahoo or something I would be glad to share the cd for testing purposes. Its up to you. :-) I have tri...

Small bug
I am not sure if someone else has run into this but I thought I would share. I cant get the new pack to work. But first let me tell you my setup. I have my custom xp cd with custom drivers and files added in. I currently have you 1.05 pack on it with no bugs. When I try to update to the new pack I g...
