Nonno, the latest (final) version reports that the msu (64-bit) version of Internet Explorer 9 is made for a different version of Windows. I'm using an original disc of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit including SP1. I continued anyway. Booting the disc runs until I choose to proceed to Setup, then it says...

They might make Office 2010 compatible with XP, but they still don't provide a user-friendly way to migrate from an old XP installation to a new one to/from 2007/2007 or 2007/2010. I'm sure MS is more concerned about making Office 2010 available to corporate customers who still hang on to XP than IE...

I had that happen several years ago with a Dell-provided XP (with SP1 integrated) CD. At the time nlite seemed to work fine removing the offending hotfixes that Dell had integrated on the CD, and slipstreaming SP2 (back then the most recent).
