With that command-line, then any files without an extension will not be added, so instead of : *.* use : * Yes, i know this sounds weird, but still that's the way 7z works internally however... Additionally, then : -r -t7z -ms=on Is either default or redundant... Btw, personally then i wouldn't use ...

Sorry for the many posts after eachother and this is the last one - i promise! @Xable I have a feature request for your pack : Since Microsoft Update is an optional upgrade and since WinXP SP2 defaults to Windows Update, then i would really appreciate if you would make your pack to also default to W...

Sorry, i'm an idiot! After further investigation, then i can now see that RyanVM's pack also includes Windows Installer 3.1v2(i.e. KB893803v2), and additionally i have found out that it's also needed for Microsoft Update. I have also read up on the Package Installer, and can see that it's a good thi...

Yes, Xable's pack does only include official updates, and you can integrate it on a WinXP OEM disc with nLite just fine, but if your WinXP version dosen't allready include SP2, then you need to first slipstream SP2 onto your source with nLite before you integrate Xable's update pack. The pack includ...

Hi Siginet :) Thank you very much for your reply, mate :) What i meant with my alpha/beta remark was simply that unofficial fixes are unofficial for a reason :) When they have been thoroughly tested and deemed stable enough, then they become official fixes - Hence, the official/unofficial terminolog...

About the amount of unofficial fixes in the pack.

@Ryan I am interrested in hearing what your oppenion is on adding unofficial updates. Do you add all you can get your hands on or do you add only the ones that you feel is important enough ? Also, are all the optional updates included in the pack except .NET, IE7 and WMP11 ? Sorry, of course i could...

After making a new install with only v2.1.10 I noticed 3 old updates wanted to be installed in WU. KB917734, KB923689, & KB891122. They dealt with WMP9 [...] As the FAQ clearly states, then Ryan's pack dosen't include WMP9 updates  I was able to reproduce it again, this time using only an Cle...

@Ryan I remember that in the thread for your previous release i.e v2.1.3, then someone asked you about why KB917537 wasen't included in the pack, and then you said that you had missed that one, and that it would be included in the next update pack i.e. v2.1.4. After having read through the changelog...
