I'm not sure if this has been addressed already, but it looks like FGCBA isn't utilizing the copy of cabarc included in the nirsoft addon builder. It appears to be using cabarc from the system directory, which caused a problem when using a really obsolete version by one of the users. I realize this ...

Ok, I'll shoot this towards the FGCBA developer. I'm sure once the option for utilizing an included copy of cabarc is corrected, everything else will be fine.

Ooh, I wonder if the FGCBA utility is trying to reference cabarc from a system directory instead of the included version. Perhaps with SP3 they updated cabarc and removed the LZX compression option. If that is the case, its a bug in FGCBA (0.897 Beta) that would need to be addressed. But that's pure...

I don't know what to tell you... Using Windows XP Professional SP3, all .NET Framework packages and updates, I got no errors at all. I can't think of why it would stop working for some but still work for others.

It is possible to change the addon to include any other apps necessary, but not to manually add files by the end-user on the fly. On a side note, I mentioned before that I might attempt to add app-selection, but that's not happening right now. The deeper I get into school, the less time I have to ti...

The files are posted and hosted by NirSoft. Chances are they are false positives. I can try to work on a pick-your-apps kind of builder, but it'll be a little bit before I can find time to do it. My lady already thinks I'm in love with this forum... Haha!

I actually did a little experimenting recently to add BluetoothView to the NirSoft builder. After tinkering for a few minutes I was able to find my way to the solution. I also added FileTypesMan since the process was fresh on my mind. I have an updated Builder if I may have permission to post it. Al...

No no, that KIND of thing. Not king. The story is told through the band's songs, although they have done a couple comics as well to give a more visual representation.

"The Keywork", the logo for Coheed and Cambria. Great band. All the songs are part of a sci-fi saga kind of thing.

Why Why Why?

As I look this morning there are 6 individuals so far that have posted something (7 now) on Christmas Day. So what gives? Why aren't you guys with friends and/or family instead of on your computers? As for me, my family is 600 miles away, and I couldn't afford the trip back. But all is not lost! My ...

RogueSpear had posted a couple .NET addons a while back. I did see where he had 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and a few other things. I'm not sure if they can all be used in the same install, though. If anyone knows that definitively, that would be great to hear.

I had a problem with integrating the WGA tool a while back as well. I'm sure with all the updates to the addons and such, that the problem is fixed; but I still remove WGA just incase. So, here's how I do it and it works fine (although it may not be the same method as others). 1) Extract the *.cab t...

I believe hajj_3 was referring to the Windows hotfixes as "patches". Just a simple mistake in terminology.

Since the "special" hotfixes will be removed from the main pack, is there someone else already devoted to maintaining a custom addon for these fixes? As posted elsewhere in the forum, a future version of the integrator will allow disabling file protection and removing CAT files, so that would make p...

I assume you mean you downloaded all the RyanVM Post-SP2 Hotfix updates, as well as the 2 add-on packs, correct? I also had that problem once, and it was caused by nLite. I'm not sure exactly which feature/option/fix it was that caused the problem. After I re-integrated everything using only the few nLite options I needed, it all worked just fine I realize you tried the process without nLite as well, so it see...

What about the 150 something limit everyone has mentioned... not an issue using the method you outlined? As long as only the hotfixes are integrated you should not reach the CAT limit of 150. Remeber from earlier posts that Ryan has added extra stuff, right? That's why he decided to make a core upd...

Alrighty then, here is a very rough estimate I have put together in my own head. The way I understand it, Ryan is only waiting on the GUI before completing/compiling the entire package. Now, obviously Ryan will not be back before Aug. 21. We are all aware that the GUI is being completed by someone o...

How would one determine which fixes needed to be added, then how to do it. Do-able? Probably for some, not for others. I think the point is that we've come to depend on his packs, and rather than re-invent the wheel and do it ourselves just wait for him. PS I'm sure were you to post instructions on...

Perhaps some are waiting to do a clean install, but could you not use the Hotfix exe's from Microsoft to integrate manually (or even use nLite's Hotfix Integration function)? The only difference would be the interface in which the hotfixes were applied. Ryan's pack couldn't possibly be that much dif...

Since Aug. 9th is the 2nd Tuesday, and that's about 5 days away, will 1.3.0 include the August patches as well? I'm patient enough to wait an extra couple days if that's all the difference it will make. If the inclusion of said patches were definate, it would also give the GUI more time to complete ...
