I just noticed the problem occurs if IE tries to access the site with http. If you use https, the website GUI appears like it did before with http. I guess MS has made some changes there.

Is it just me or did anyone also notice that searching for updates on XP now takes ages and runs at a constant 50% CPU? This problem also occurred a while back with Vista and Win7. MS never fixed it for Vista. It took me over 4 hours to get any results for Nov on XP running wuauclt /detectnow. The s...

Re: [Addon] XPSP3 QFE POSReady Updates 20171021
Thanks for the infos. I've made a note of it and updated the 7zdn. I did not realize replacing the old 7zdn would
work. If I recall correctly 7zdn was a special version without the compression component included in it. I'm not
sure why this was done that way and if replacing it would break anything.

No idea why RVMi did not like the way I created the other file mentioned previously.
Code: Select all

Boy, talk about being impatient. Give the man a break and wait for him to post, instead of badgering the guy every patch Tuesday. Questioning the status of the updates doesn't really add anything useful to this thread. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

5eraph, I was offered all the PosReady updates by WU that you've included in your update, except for KB3197835.
Not sure why this one wasn't offered. Maybe because I don't have the IIS component enabled?

I can't. It always times out.
