No hurt feelings

 boooggy there are no hurt feelings here. Perhaps this is a language problem since we are both from two different cultures.

Replies to one, two, three, and four

1. My assumption reading it at first was that your work was an addon. 2. There are instructions on your page other than to download WMP 11 and its patches? 3. Where on Ryan's site does it state his addons are gone? The one forum post is impossible to find unless someone tells you where his message w...

Not to start a pissing contest, but trying to find that thread is next to impossible through the search function. In addition, the first message has not been updated in that thread. The bottom line is that many people haven't visited the forums in several months because of the length of time between...

Suggestions for WMP 11 Slipstreamer site

boooggy I have a few suggestions for your site. This is all coming from the perspective that I think a lot of folks, like myself, have been out of the loop because of the time between Ryan's update packs. My usual disclaimer, I appreciate the hard work of all of the contributers and I know they have...

Maybe the download page should reflect abandoned addons?

Let me stress this again, I realize Ryan has limited time and has helped many of us. After reading that link, it looks like I am not the only one looking for Ryan's addons that have been abandoned/removed. Maybe Ryan should post their titles back on the download page and place in bold, perha...

Searched over and over, but where is Ryan's WMP 10?

Okay, before anyone states to do a search, I have . Where did Ryan's WMP 10 addon go? I know the eventual goal was to have boooggy maintain a WMP addon, but I can't find any post stating Ryan abandoned his WMP 10 addon. I know Ryan doesn't have a ton of time, so I'm not bashing him in any w...

:? Ryan, not nagging you, just paranoid that your check (letter) is in the mail. Any chance you can pump out an update soon? I know you are busy and I have really appreciated your hard work.

Confused about slipstreaming MCE 2005

I just bought a new notebook with MCE 2005. The notebook did not include any recovery media. Is the first disc of MCE just a normal XP install disc? Anyone know of some simple slipstreaming directions for MCE?

RANT: Anyone else over the MS bullsh*t?

Okay, a quick rant. Anyone else over the Microsoft bullsh*t? I am really tired of babying my personal computers. It seems like maintenance never ends. I also read that MS may switch computers off in September through WGA if the keys aren't up to par. I used Amigas in the day. Can handle Macs. I gues...

ubuntu city!

I am over babying Windows 24/7. Seems I can't even watch the tube without my partner needing help with something going wrong on XP. I am taking the plunge into Linux with ubuntu. I found a guide, http://os.newsforge.com/article.pl?sid=04/06/17/1538223&tid=2&tid=130&tid=27&tid=31&pagenum=1 , to help ...

It worked!

Okay, I am happy as a clam, it worked! I love the idea of making slipstreamed Windows XP CDs that use the keys and activation of Royalty OEMs. I plan on producing an updated guide with a few points I failed to mention. The most important thing I forgot is retrieving the Windows XP key that your Vaio...

Making a slipstreamed Royalty OEM (Dell or HP) XP WPA CD?

I want to make slipstreamed Royalty OEM XP CDs (for new retail PCs) not using the bundled Royalty OEM media. You know, using the key that actually came with a Dell or HP. I found this site that explains Windows Product IDs. I also found this site that goes into changing XP's setupp.ini. This article...

Simple utility to catalog/inventory Addons/Software?

It is becoming a pain in the ass to organize the addons from the Ryan and nLite forums. Anyone know of a simple utility that can catalog software? Something that allows one to store the name, location, version, etc. of a software package. I know a datebase and/or a spreadsheat could do it, but I was...

Okay, I know another guy requested this one, but seems the thread got lost in some nice theming action. I am crossing my fingers that Kel will do this for the needy.

Utility to catalog/inventory software archives?

Okay, too many good addon packs to organize. Any of you know of a utility that allows you to record the software archive's name, version, site, etc? Lately addon packs and Firefox extensions have been packing the ol' hard drive.

Are Update Packs/Software Addons still virgins?

Is there a standard in our slipstreaming community with these update packs/software applications whether they are altered/tweaked with certain settings? I am guessing it varies by each author who submits the CAB files. I wonder if I have to go into, let's say, Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 and neuter it from...
