Added checks for READ-ONLY media, removed some warning messages etc. It's time for release to the public :D

Last update for now. Even more error handling, however sysoc.inf is written in unicode on my cd, so I can't check if that file is made for SP2 or not with AutoIT. Hope they fix this soon. At least dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif have now SP2 detection. BTW, Ryan, your file is standard cab isn't it? I ca...

I have uploaded a new build, with support for already extracted sysoc.inf.
Support is added for long directory names.

Fixed even more stuff, more error handling code. Meaby I should add SP2 detection to make sure the patcher only modifies SP2 source files.

If possible it should only overwrite sysoc.in_ with the newer sysoc.in_.

What about h_sysoc.in_. I don't have that file anyway. Is it for Windows XP home Edition?

RyanVM's Update Pack Installer

RyanVm's Update Pack installer What does this tool do? It's an automatic way to merge RyanVM's update pack within the Windows Setup. It also makes the necessary entries to dosnet.inf, sysoc.inf and txtsetup.sif. What do you need? 1. A folder which contains the Windows XP Home / Pro SP2 Setup files,...

New updates

Some new post-sp2 fixes added.

However since more and more people becoming SP2 MCE users I would suggest to also include those updates. Meaby as an addition so pure XP SP2 users shouldn't have to download them. I marked those updates white.

a06, this is indeed the PRE-SP3 list, so likely these patches are ment to be used in Windows XP SP3.

Using many, or all patches should work, as the developers of Microsoft are using these too.
Nevertheless it is unsupported, so no calls to MS, but to Ryan

Ryan, I don't mind if 1.1 get delayed.

If you release a 1.1 and an 1.2 version in 1 month you can get into bandwidth problems. It's not that difficult to add these updates for 1.1.

Only additions are the XML stuff, CabARC and Qfecheck.
