SP4 is another slipstream, so updatepack.inf still won't be executed properly through a repair install.

I thought the updates get integrated during the slipstream...

Shouldn't it be transparent then, if you do a repair install? (Just like a fresh install? In other words, isn't updatepack.inf only for in-place individual updates?)

I have the Dell ISOs, I don't see anything special about them with regards to obtaining bugfixes from Dell.

Still, it would be interesting to see how Dell would respond if someone who owned a legitimate copy did request a bugfix.

Well, 2003 support officially ended yesterday, but luckily, Microsoft did release a whole bunch of updates.

The last one I have is Office11-PostSP3-HotPack-ENU-0614.7z, and I also have their "Office Integrator 1.1".

The URL of their forum changed, but I see a message "Your IP is banned", which is universal, since I tried with a proxy.

Is KB958911 not included? I downloaded it with the hope that it would eliminate the vsync problem in 2d, and it allowed me to install it.

On that note Microsoft forgot to enable 2d vsync in XP x64. The problem is that everything tears. Anyone know of a solution?

Sounds like you might want to invest in a decent PSU, something like the Seasonic SSR-360GP . I wouldn't continue using the 550W generic, it could ultimately destabilize your system. You mean existing IE5 files, correct? Yea, on an XP repair, if you don't boot into Recovery console or a PE and "batch spuninst.txt" in Windows\IEx directory, you get the aforementioned symptom...
