i don't really mind, i prefer the "all-in-one" approach and that one lists them in the Control Panel's "Add or Remove Programs"... most of the other .NETs either don't list them at all or list them under "Add/Remove Windows Components"... with the install being fully automated with zero user-interac...

i ran Win7 for a while... *HATED* it, will NOT go back to it !!!... my optimized/tweaked XP single-processor with 2gig RAM **IS** faster than Win7 dual-processor with 4gig RAM... my "everything" XP install DVD sits at 4.4gig... but like i say, it's literally *everything*... my preferred .NET is jayn...

SWEET !!!...

the new install is now running through all of the "runonce" installs and the mouse has *NO SHADOW* !!!...

i'm half way there, now to see if i can track down why there is a stooopid shadow during the "low-res" portion of the install...
that part doesn't "annoy" me 'as much' though...

uh oh, i had a few versions of this downloaded and in cleaning house, i deleted all but the newest...

then manually deleted the Send To shortcuts, did not use the /Remove switch...


now i cannot get the Send To shortcuts back - any advice?

opted for 7zip sfx's and folder-dependent config.txt's after all...
turns out that the Zip2Exe won't "keep" EMPTY folders contained within the original .zip...

got my problem fixed...
still unable to determine "why" the timestamp offset was there in the first place...

i'm still curious as well - it just takes a LONG time to trial-and-error...

thinking back over the years, i think, not positive, but i think that i observed these timestamp offsets before and the underlying only-changed variable was which .net framework pack was used or not used...

as an update, the timestamp HOURS seems purely RANDOM if folder contents are copied over as folder contents during Win install... the HOUR offset is always 2 or 5 when nLite creates the ISO and then nLite burns that ISO... i live in the Eastern Time Zone (GMT minus 5)... the HOUR offset is 2 or CORR...

i've always kept the QFE UpdatePack "untouched", so i'm not 100% sure if i did this right - i copied the KB2753842-v2 "cat" file from Onepiece's v6.3.1 and placed it inside the QFE UpdatePack... i then deleted the KB2753842 "cat" file from inside the QFE UpdatePack... i also copied the "atmfd.dll" f...
