This is destroying my disc... integrating with nLite I get a "H- is out of bounds..." something or other error... and completely breaks the build, nLite doesn't even finish copying over addons etc... have to start all over (ie: SP0 integrate SP3 > nLite)

I've noticed one problem with this and it is with notepad2...
It does not create a notepad2.ini in %APPDATA%\Notepad2 so when you change settings and "save" it doesn't save them for future sessions... so you have to change your settings every time...

man, for some of these packs it sure would be a welcome change for them to be able to be dynamic, in that when you add them to nlite/integrator before it actually slips the addon it could check for latest files and cab them with the proper cab name...etc... and build accordingly then slip... haha......

if you haven't already... try opening your task explorer and closing any/all instances of notepad2 or notepad++ or windows notepad (if you even still have it installed) then try opening the log again... or if you have "unlocker" on your system right click the log file and use unlocker to unlock any ...

yes, should work great...

you can also do everything in one shot via nLite (ie: slipstream sp3, ie7 addon, dx9c addon...etc...etc...)

one month ago I use 5503 to slipstream, add addons and unnantended - all was right. last week I try do same with 5508, than also try again 5503 - but same result I try to integrate: RVM Integrator 1.5.3 nLiTe 1.4.5 beta2 and beta1 I think this may be because I use XP SP3 5503 - I install previously...

you should look into AutoIt... using the scite "autoit recorder" you can easily make your own switchless addons in about 5min once you learn the basics.

This is an alpha of my update pack for mce components, that i'm working on. Looks like electrogens one, but not based on that. I created myself. I double checked all the other infs individually and they all checked out so a rebuilt the package and integrated it and it installed fine... guess this error has something to do with the way fgcba parses entries.ini files only... and isn't actually an error with the ini or inf files. sor...

Just in case there are others who might have the same question I did, and already understand how to create a 7z switchless just use this in the config.txt for the RunProgram= line: RunProgram="update\update.exe /passive /norestart /o /n" /o = overwrite oem files without prompt /n = don't backup file...

I download Rollup2 from ms ...and extract it......and then extract kb900325....and I replace the ehres.dll with customized vista style dll...I then rebuild as silent installer with winrar sfx.....and place in svcpack folder and make addon I extract wmp11 addon (from winaddons)...and replace wmplaye...

When I go to microsoft update or other websites that use activex... the site asks me to install the activex... but the yellow bar that usually shows up under the address bar never appears. Kel, In my experience if you start a fresh installation with a bug, then you will just pic up problems along the way. If its not smooth saling right through the preverbal SH*T will hit the fan along the way. LOL :lol: yeah I've never had luck with packs that had even what seemed to be little errors...
