That's because you have IE7 installed, which uses JScript 5.7. ;) KB933811 is an IE6 update... Addendum: Increment the KB number and you get KB933812 , which happens to be the KB article for the JScript 5.7 DST fix for IE7 (so IE7 is affected as well). However, unlike the IE6 fix, the IE7 hotfix is...

IE7/WMP11 should be in the main pack imo But your opinion doesn't matter. It's Microsoft's opinion that does, and their current stance is that IE7 is a core part of Vista and IE6 is a core part of XP, which is why it is unclear if they even intend to make IE7 a part of SP3 and why IE7 updates aren'...

The only reason I was hoping for a SP3 was because it'd be the only way to truly cleanly integrate things like IE7 and WMP11 (otherwise, slipstreaming hotfixes would have roughly the same effect). So this is great news indeed.

A lot of the "consumer" Intel chips have VT stripped out of them. Only the upper-mainstream and higher level chips like the E6xxx series have VT. I don't need the extra power that the higher-end chips offer, so the only benefit (for me) of a higher-end chip is VT. So for people who have used VT, in ...
