Installing to a Virtual PC is not a valid test for this, as your install on your VM or VPC should be the same as mine is providing ou...

Actually you might have sata drive but your vm dosnt, it emulates standard hardware, so your test to VM is the same as installing to real hardware using IDE drives and an intel chipset.

I reported this in another topic but i had the same issue last night. Please can you list your hardware if you have problems. The chipset and what type of drive ( sata or ide ) I think are very important. And if you had to use the f6 to add sata drivers or if you slipped in sata drivers so you dont ...

I had to make a fresh disk because it wanted the via sata driver slipped in before it would start. It’s only a small addition of 2 files to the i386 folder and a few entries to the txtsetu...

Thanks for replying so quick. 1 & 3 Understood. However 2 is an issue then as its clearly in there, and there were no erros from the intergrator, the RVMUpdatePack1.3.1.cab file passes winrars 3.50's Archive test so its not corrupt. The Source history is the original Corp VLK Release with sp slipstr...

The i386 was built from XP Pro VLK With SP2 slipstreamed into it and then the 1.3.1 Pack installed...

Ok Thanks for the info,

As i undestand it the next pack will have an interface that lets you choose what to install and what not to, that should solve your problem when its released.

Its going to be GUI driven, you will be able to select which fixes and which packs you want to install. I would expect him to offer the hotfixes and gui as one download and the addons/packs as seperate add in packs - to save the 56k'rs - but thats just my speculation. First Post so, Hello to all and...
