Anyone know what happened to Siginet Software Forum?

Post by mockingbird » Thu Nov 20, 2014 2:19 pm

I'm trying to download the latest Office 2003 hotpack.

The last one I have is Office11-PostSP3-HotPack-ENU-0614.7z, and I also have their "Office Integrator 1.1".

The URL of their forum changed, but I see a message "Your IP is banned", which is universal, since I tried with a proxy.

I happened. Tried banning a spammer by IP and somehow all IPs got banned. I've tried reaching Siginet to no avail.

Me again

5eraph, can you check on the forums? I'm getting unable to connect. Looks like a routing error.

Thanks

I've also been unable to connect. Pretty sure I didn't break it this time. :)

Siginet may be able to diagnose it. Need his current contact information to reach him. I know Kelsenellenelvian can.

Maybe you should ask him if he'll let you take over. I know he's busy with his new project, but this is some serious neglect:

It would be a shame to lose such a repository of information and more importantly the files and programs contained therein.

Sorry. The site is hosted by reboot.pro and they have had some major issues lately. They have it fixed now though. Sorry it was down so long. I'm thinking I may move it to a new domain again. But I haven't made up my mind if I will yet or not. I keep trying to find time to come back and stop neglecting my site... but things in life keep cropping up. I have recently incorporated my business though... so I plan on making a bunch of changes this year with the site and trying to be more active on it. It's good to see that there are still members who miss my site when it is down. It makes me realize that there is still useful things on the site that I need to continue supporting. If it wasn't for key members here taking care of the site in my absence I'm sure it would have died out completely a long time ago! ;)

The biggest problem has been when the site was down and no one could get hold of you. If nothing else, please make sure that several people, (such as Kel, 5eraph, and Ryan perhaps?), all know how to get in touch with you if necessary. Just a thought.

Cheers and Regards

Kel did get in touch with me right away. ;-) It just took a while for the site to get fixed. Kel has contact with me on Facebook.

The last time I saw the Siginet forum it had been swamped with spam, but today when I attempted to visit it I received a blank page with the words História escreve-se, não se apaga on the top left corner, which means History is written, it is not erased.
XP FOREVER!
