Manually Integrated Pack to nlited System Prevent reinstall?

Post by Providence » Fri Mar 04, 2005 11:14 am

Can Manually Integrated Pack to nlited System Prevent reinstall?
Seems i am not good at title.so long
QFECheck says that most of the hotfixes must be reinstalled after integrating with nLite.
This is a known bug on nLite's end, not my pack. There's nothing I can do to fix it.
it means no way to fix this problem if use nlite?
if i use nlite first, then use manually way to integrated this pack, can this situation be prevented?

thx...

The issue is due to nLite modifying windows setup files, not the files in the update pack.

As for the rest of what you're asking, I'm afraid I have to ask you to restate your question more clearly. I'm not really sure what it is you're asking.

No, that won't prevent it. Again, this issue isn't specifically due to the update pack. Rather, the update pack integration simply exposes the issue.

don't apply the RyanVM pack afterwards. If you apply it before using nLite all is okay. However integration through nLite itself does work properly now with nLite 0.99.8 beta 4/5
