How to install unattend over the original Win on C:?

Post by mastodon » Tue Jun 06, 2006 1:23 pm

I like to make a spcial "blond" edition of my unattended CD, that does not need to remove the installed windows and program files directory before using it.
You only have to put the CD in the tray, and wait. And the fresh windows is installed.
So the install CD first remove from C: the Windows, System Volume Information, RECYCLER and Program files directories, and after that makes an unattended install.
Is it possible?
And what happens with the Documents and Settings directory?
thanks for any idea

A lot of what you're looking for can be found at MSFN's Unattended Windows Guide.

Thanks, but I know that site of Alanoll. I can not remember, whether he wrote anything about that, and I do not want the read the whole Encyclopaedia Brittannica for just one article. :-)
Has anybody an exact link or idea?
