Known Issues- High Definition Audio isn't working right for some people. As a workaround, replace the two hdaudio INFs with the ones from the September Update Pack (or directly extracted from KB888111).
If you do run into anything you think is an error, be sure to consult with the FAQ on my site before asking about it here.

Yes ViVa, because in last update pack there was a problem in HDA, so I have to stay with September Update Pack.
Thats why, I am saying
Long Time.

Every time MS releases some security updates, and/or some public updates, I make a folder called "Required" on my hard drive and put them in that folder.
But this time, Ryan, You completely Delete this folder with Shift+Delete! Thank you for your grate job!

Please let us know that on which motherboard are you testing the Update Pack?
I gave RyanVM's Update Pack to some of my friends that have Realtek HD Audio. Some other have VIA.
No one problem...

I test HDA on a Dell B130 laptop. As a workaround, try using the hdaudio INFs from the September release.

hi ryanvm, dont get pissed alright but what are the issues (if any) if nlite 1.0.1 is used? i've been observing the msfn nlite forums and 1.2.1 still has a ton of bugs. no offense to nuhi but it was a heck of an upgrade and still needs a lot of work before it's solid like 1.0.1. i'm gonna give the new pack a shot with 1.0.1 anyways but please let me know of anything I should be cautious of when using it. thanks
both you and nuhi rock. keep up the good work thanks

It hasn't really been tested. You can try it, just don't come here complaining of integration bugs if it doesn't work right

I have an Asus Motherboard, with Cmedia audio driver (ADI 1986, as showing in the device manager). I have tried all the suggestions of group members like replacing hdaudres.dll (
http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=39466#39466), manual installation of hotfix (
http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37071#37071), but nothing worked, and I tried that on clean install (not on a virtual machine), now I am back to 2,1.2a.

and now audio is working fine.

Thanks Ryan.
I do have one glitch here, but no one else has mentioned it so I'm guessing its just my problem.
When I run Microsoft Update after doing an install with this pack, it lists KB920342 as an available update even though your documentation says its included in the pack.
I used nLite 1.2.1 and integrated IE7.

works purrfect
just did a vm install - xp corp + self integrated sp2 -> ryanvm2.1.4+ryan's wmp10 -> ryan's dx9.0c (all three using integrator) -> nlite 1.0.1 to remove some crap. no wmp11, no ie7. after install and a quick run with mbsa 2.0 (with updated .CABs) it shows all updates installed fine (with the exception of ie7 obviously)

If you need and / or want them, then yes of course you
could integrate them along with 2.1.4..
You
should integrate nothing.
