Hi, this is my fist post here!

How to remove this hotfix Microsoft HighMAT CD Writing Wizard (KB831240) from Update Pack Full 1.2.2 42.9MB 6df9261d66f68c1f11becd17012edd02 ?

Sorry, I cant help you with your question, but i wonder why you would want to remove it? Is it causing a problem and if so could you tell us about it.

He wants to use the FULL Pack but doesnt that unecessary feature since is he using another Bruning Tool like Nero or so

Full pack is OK! very great...

but:

1 - My burning software is Nero and other...

2 - HighMat features is not necessary NEVER! and is not compatible with domestic or auto CD...

3 - Some nLited distribution deinstalling M$ cd-burning features...

4 - RVMU Medium is not the best compromise...

5 - RVMU Lite is only basic upgrade...

Ok Thanks for the info,

As i undestand it the next pack will have an interface that lets you choose what to install and what not to, that should solve your problem when its released.

Next pack contains add-ons as a seperate pack, which includes highmst, process explorer, cabarc, filemon, unlocker,etc.
and there is an add-on pack for wmp 10,which includes 3 hotfixes for it.
