For the love of God, read the nLite or Integrator directions for how to properly integrate this pack.

Notes

nLite 1.2.1 or RyanVM Integrator 1.4.2 is required to properly integrate this release.
If you used nLite to integrate the pack and are having problems, PLEASE read this thread before reporting problems.

Known Issues

High Definition Audio isn't working right for some people. As a workaround, replace the two hdaudio INFs with the ones from the September Update Pack (or directly extracted from KB888111).
Yes, setuperr.log whines about plugin.ocx being missing. This is completely intended behavior and is nothing to worry about. I'll update the FAQ with a more detailed explanation later.
With version 2.1.5, KB918005.cat was being erroneously deleting during integration, causing file signature issues. This was fixed in version 2.1.5a. If you've already got a CD with 2.1.5 integrated into it, this addon will fix it, but it must be integrated AFTER the Update Pack, NOT AT THE SAME TIME.

Sane here, just using the Torrent Tracker to download these updates. I was also have problems with the normal HTTP Downloads so I just used this instead.

LIGHTNING quick too

The only bad thing is I was nearly ready to release a DVD and now Ryan has gone and updated everything, good timing indeed lol. (jk)

Why do you not include the KB926247 security update in the update pack?
It include snmp.exe version 5.1.2600.3038
I think that you could include the updated snmp.exe in its original location (\I386) and the needed registry entries without any problem.

KB926247 is not included because the Simple Network Management Protocol is not installed in XP by default and is never used by most people.

I have a small network here at home and I've never had an occasion to use it--not even with my slim print server which supports it.

not a problem, just an annoyance, but KB920342 still shows up on MU.

i've seen it there when i integrate it with nlite, or the /integrate method, as well...anyone else notice this?

That could be due to the fact that Ryan keeps better records than Microsoft.

KB888302 has been in the Update Pack since February, 2005 (Update Pack 1.2.0). KB926646 directly replaces the only file involved (SRVSVC.DLL).

I integrated 2.1.4 a few days ago, followed by IE7 (using nlite)..

Is it safe to go ahead and do over the top of 2.1.4, and IE7, and then re-do IE7?

I'm asking because I dont want to have to redownload all of my addons because I have to make a clean CD, but if that is the only way, then I will.

not to take anything away from ryan, but i'd say a lot of people do a lot of things better than MS

anyways, ryan, awesome work! this one came out a lot quicker than i expected. thanks for the early christmas present and keep up the good work

You are welcome to try... but it is allways best to start fresh. Let us know if you are successful or not.

I agree with Ryan on this one.. If it is not used by the majority of people, then don't include it. It's not really hard to manually update the file and registry keys. I'll look into making an addon for it later today, but no guarantees.

Perhaps they just didn't burn properly or got corupted on your test source? Try on a clean source, and see what happens.

That's caused due to overdownloading I guess, try the Torrent Tracker or wait a while.
