Problems with Arabic MUI and Other MUI

And something more - probably there are difference between the MUI's (however the MUI's listed here should be all the same (no Arabic there

PS: Mine original shell32.dll is version 6.0.2900.2180

PS2: Try to find newer MUI pack, shell32.dll verison 6.0.2600.0 is for SP0 and SP1.

oh I used the resource hacker and changed every version number to the newer one, saved the shell32.dll.mui and replaced the original one at system32

re-install the hotfix KB913808.exe, reboot

clean the registry from every value with muichache by using jv16 PowerTools

a little refresh by F5, every menues and desktop icons in arabic

I'll try to arrange all the steps to solve this issue to finalize this post

I told about it. Russian Slip - same problem.

Use Resource Hacker and open the file:
C:\WINDOWS\mui\fallback\0401\shell32.dll.mui <---- this is the location of the arabic mui

and go to the "version info > 1 > 1025" section and past this into the second line:

FILEVERSION 6,0,2900,3051

After you past this don't forget to press the "compile script" button and then save.

And to make shore everything will be in Arabic use REGEDIT to find all key named "muicache" and delete them.

any idea how to unattendely delete this value from the registry?
