- Get a torrent client
While this is a rather subjective decision, my personal favorite is uTorrent. It's small and easy to use. Go to their website and download the installer build so it takes care of all the necessary file registrations for you. - Click on a download link from the tracker
I'm hoping you can manage this step without me having to explain how to click a link. - Start downloading
If your torrent program doesn't automatically pick up on the .torrent download from your web browser, double click it from wherever you saved it to and your torrent client should then start. Pick a save location for the file and you're on your way.

Holy crap, I can't believe I seriously need to make this thread. But since there are some out there who've apparently never used it before, here's a quick primer.

This is a relatively good noob-friendly site:Siginet wrote:Just to add... If you use a router you may need to forward a port to your computer. Or else your downloads will be very slow. utorrent has some pretty good help on how to do it.
Ryans torrent tracker is so fast it screams... so if it's slow you may want to look into the port forwarding.

Sometimes they're slightly inaccurate, but I suspect most people can RTFM and figure out what it is that's being asked of them.
Agreed, jbob, at least for the moment.
EDIT (2008/02/13): The situation doesn't seem likely to change any time soon.
EDIT (2008/03/27): Comcast has acquiesced. They say it'll only take nine months for them to stop discriminating against Bittorrent traffic.
