RyanVM Post-SP2 Update Pack 2.2.2 - Released April 27, 2008
Re: Thank You
Just one of them: After installing Windows XP Pro with SP3, drivers and programs, Add or Remove section from Control Panel is open very slowbobotlito wrote: I am not ready for SP3 yet due to its issues.
(took one minute untill the list is populated). Tested without .NET Framework, VMWare and other "goodies".

Is it really necessary that Windows has to re-figure out just what's installed anytime you open Add/Remove programs? Is it really that difficult for it to know what's installed?
No, a minute's not long but taken into perspective it is a lot longer than it should be.
Of course, I don't consider this to be a SP3-specific annoyance.

All I can tell you , masterm, is that Ryan is working on it with a release date of "soon." I can't provide any more detail than that because I don't know more than anybody else here at the moment.
No worries. This is a great alternative at the moment http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=78481
I'm guessing you found it, Chrysalis.

I've got both the Post-SP2 and Post-SP3 packs in sync right now. I've been very aggressive this week in getting both almost ready for release so that as soon as soon as I get home from work on Tuesday, I can add the new security updates and get the packs released.
In other words, I'm expecting to release both updated packs on Tuesday.
