Great job! But will this version defenitely work with Nlite 0.99.9?
And are there some tweaks in this pack that are also in Nlite so that i do not check them twice?

No tweaks are applied. It's an update pack, not a tweak pack :D

WOW.. didn't know there were/are so many updates for xp after sp2 8)
Keep continue building these packages, great stuff.

(PS. i saw there is WMP10 in the german version, i would be awsome if it would be integrated in the dutch version)

Windows Media Player 10 will not make it into the Dutch Update Pack as long as it bloats the system with it's Music store.

Did you ever pay for the music you Downloaded? Probably not. Musicians get most of their money from concerts anyway. Not from MP3's

Hi,
I want to make an Windows XP CD with a lot of things installed directly. Now I want to integrate hotfixes also, but I know that there are new hotfixes released. So my question is: Should I wait for the next version of de Dutch pack? Or will it take some weeks? You don't have to hurry, but I just want to know how long it will take.

Thanks in advance

grtz

It might take some time. What I did is just integrate the current ryan pack with nlite and then integrate the new hotfixes additionally. Worked fine for me.

Hi all,

I have a problem while installing UWXP Sp2 + ryanvms updatepackage,
problem is setup cannot copy xpsp3.dll,have no problems if i ignore this file and let it copy the other files.

What i did:
Clean XP slipstream Sp2 and after this slipstream the updatepackage,I only used Nlite (latest version) for creating an ISO.
Problem occured in virtual machine,so is this a virtual machine problem or is this a Nlite problem?what does this file do,and can i copy after the setup this dll file.

anyway thanks

Hi

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=xxxxxx replacing the xxxxxx with the numbers of the KB and download the DUTCH file of it

Open run (uitvoeren) and write "C:\Documents and Settings\Adem\Desktop\updates nl\WindowsXP-KB890046-x86-NLD.exe" /integrate:C:\UWXP replace the pathname with yours and it'll integrate it into your UWXP map.

It was worth to register to see if there was a dutch update pack :D thank you very much!

PS. why do we speak english in this topic if it's about the dutch update pack? is this just a netiquette?

Just two more weeks, and it's August.

That leaves NO update pack for may, NO update pack for june, NO update pack for july.

Is there ever going to be a new update pack or should we pass the torch on to someone else?

I have no doubt that someone can be busy with other things, but three full months? Come on...

Probably you used nLite to do this for you. However there's a bug in nLite causing the RVMUpPCk.inf file not getting run during installation. To workaround this issue you have to do all nLite integration, removal etc stuff in one operation. So every time you run the program start over with a fresh Windows CD source. nuhi knows already about this bug.

However it's not a big deal if you disabled SFC.

Meaby it has also todo with QFE: see my post

I'm off for a week vacation. If someone would like to help me translating the RVMPack 1.3 to dutch please e-mail me.

Where can i download all those updates? Some of them are at the Microsoft download site and on Windows update, but not all of them.

Just to let know, I didn't use nLite
Tried to use it once, messed up my cd couple of times, never used it again ever since :)
So that ain't the problem, don't know what the problem is, don't care anymore actually, cause v1.3 is coming :)

Love to help if you need some.

Grtz

Just a warning, newest nLite is not compatible with current Dutch April Update pack. Please use manual integration method before nLite usage.
