Help for translate the pack

i want to translate the pack to spanish,but i dont know.

can someone xplain me exactly what is the process to do?

frist; i have to donwload all the actualitations in Spanish. But i have some cuestions of this files: ¿ I dont have to donload no ?

The only things in your post you need for the translated package are the Windows Update files. After you have run windowsupdate.microsoft.com to acquire the updated files you'll find them in your windows\system32 dir.

If this is too dificult for you, then making the Spanish pack is not your thing

hi i donload all the files that apear in the Current version: 1.2.0 log, and there was in spanish languje.

now, what must i do?

makecab the files with the following command:

makecab /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 filename

where filename is the file from Windows Update. Now a new file is created with _ after it. Copy this to RyanVM's update pack. Do this for all Windows Update files:

For the record, you could have run

makecab /?

to get the full list of commands and syntax. From there, play around with it. That's how most of us have learned

EDIT: Oh, and if you want to get a bit more advanced, you can use the following switches to get higher compression:

hi!

i dont know when have the file creat.

i do this:

1) in RUN i put " makecab /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 filename" (when filename is the name of the update)

for example i donwload this file: "WindowsXP-KB885835-x86-ESN.exe"

i execute RUN and i put this "makecab /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 WindowsXP-KB885835-x86-ESN.exe"and them i press ENTER

2) I dont see a new file tha is created with _ after it? where is?

...you need to extract the files from the exe first...

I extract the files fron the exe.

Now what i do?

I have extract the files fron the exe. its apears 4 folders and two files.one of the folder name is "upate" and in this folder there is a file how have this name "KB891781.CAT" it is the file how i have to use?

i have do the proces:

it is that i do:

1) donwload the updates from microsft page

2) Extract the donlwloads files:

2.1) put in RUN : CMD
2.2) write filename.exe/x (when filename is the exe that we have to extract)

3) ther was creater a folder,that have one folder "update".in there there is a file how have thios from "KB??????.CAT"

4) Put in RUN: makecab /D CompressionType=LZX /D CompressionMemory=21 filename.cat (when filename is the "KB??????.CAT"

5) now i have a file like a " KB??????.ca_"

¿ It iS my steps corect?

Now i take your PACK "RVMUpdatePack1.2Full.cab"

¿ what program i use to replace these files?.

i use to extract the pack using winrar 3.42. and them i replace the files.

I cant replace this files because i dont see there in the pack:

Edit the .inf, with the proper checksum values and build dates.
