Hey, ziomek, foobar2000 1.1.17 also just updated zlib to 1.2.7, as you can see here - is this the source? :)

Kel, would you be kind to update this installer and the runtimes addon?

I made a summary of ziomek posts:

New zlib1.dll ver.1.2.7 better compilation 90kb - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qd5l7q5pz2p9xd7
OpenSSL_1.0.1.5 - http://www.mediafire.com/?zz1b87iri3kki9e
cygwin1.dll_1007.17.0.0 - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?am1sbz7wzwydqm9

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your work.

Back in March I had actually added the files that keloo05 referenced but I am wondering if any new updates have come along since then.

OpenSSL_1.0.1.5 - http://www.mediafire.com/?zz1b87iri3kki9e
cygwin1.dll_1007.20.0.0 - http://www.mediafire.com/download/yacj6 ... 20.0.0.rar (or http://www.girlshare.ro/32676912.4)

Sorry for that. I updated my post with MediaFire links.

Offtopic: For me, GirlShare looks very simple. Just a download button, no ads, no wait time.

ricktendo has some newer stuff in his pack, most likely from kb2911777. Can you also update your pack, Kel? Thanks! :)

For some reason this pack has mswinsck,ocx (6.1.98.17) marked read/only and this causes problems during my Win 8.1 setupcomplete.cmd when there's an update for it (6.1.98.39). I get a windows pop-up about the file being R/O and could not be replaced.

Download: http://hotfixv4.microsoft.com/Visual%20 ... 86_zip.exe
Also the INF may need some updating for x64, so it copies the x86 files to the syswow64

Code: Select all

[defaultinstall.x86]
CopyFiles=DLL.Copy.32
RegisterDlls=DLL.Register.32
[defaultinstall.amd64]
CopyFiles=DLL.Copy.64
RegisterDlls=DLL.Register.64
[destinationdirs]
DLL.Copy.32=11
DLL.Copy.64=10,SysWOW64
You will have to have two copyfiles and two registerdlls (11,,dllname,1 and 10,syswow64,dllname,1)

Edit: also libssl32.dll needs to be updated (its ssleay32.dll renamed)

If you permit me a suggestion, Kel, since you have limited time, and since ricktendo is making such a splendid job with his installer, why not keeping in your installer only the files that are complementary to his installer?

I remember you did the same a while back on the xp front, when your xp runtimes installer was made complementary to yumeyao's, by keeping only the files that aren't included in yumeyao's addon. :)

LE: This addon will also be compatible with windowd 8 / 8.1, right?

Rica & Kel... I have been using this pack forever and just recently Rick helped me with exactly what Rica suggested... it worked like a charm for me so I am sure he will be more than happy to work this out with you.

I have one in my inno script for remaining (non Microsoft) runtimes

Code: Select all

Source: "{sys}\autoitx3.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: regserver restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\cygwin1.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libeay32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libiconv2.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libintl3.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libmmd.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libpng13.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libpng15.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\libssl32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\openal32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\ssleay32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\wrap_oal.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
Source: "{sys}\zlib1.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Flags: restartreplace
; x64 section
Source: "{sys64}\libeay32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Check: "IsWin64"; Flags: 64bit restartreplace
Source: "{sys64}\libssl32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Check: "IsWin64"; Flags: 64bit restartreplace
Source: "{sys64}\ssleay32.dll"; DestDir: "{sys}"; Check: "IsWin64"; Flags: 64bit restartreplace
Only have the x64 openssl, would be nice if we could get more x64 versions of the other files

Here's where to get some of them. . .

autoitx3_x64.dll -- http://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/ -- Download ZIP file and extract. It's in the ...\install\AutoIX folder.

libiconv2.dll - http://www.gtk.org/download/win64.php (scroll to "Required Third-party Dependencies" and download)
libpng15.dll - http://www.gtk.org/download/win64.php (scroll to "Required Third-party Dependencies" and download)
zlib1.dll - http://www.gtk.org/download/win64.php (scroll to "Required Third-party Dependencies" and download)

cygwin1.dll - In the cygwin x86_64 installer base package.
If saving offline, download just the "cygwin" package from the package list, then extract the tarball and the tarball-within-a-tarball.

openal32.dll + wrap_oal.dll - http://www.mediafire.com/download/o62dm ... OpenAL.rar.
Creative shut down its official download site, so get the archived version from that link. Extract, then extract the OpenAL 32-64.zip file inside. Grab the x64 openal32.dll and wrap_oal.dll that the installer drops in system32 (and not the x86 ones in SysWOW64).

@ricktendo So the dlls you've ''quoted'' a post above are the ones that are also in your pack, or the extra ones that are only in Kel's pack? You haven't been very clear... thanks! :)

I am going to try in the next couple of days to update the main core few of my addons. Working with a broken arm is hard though.

Please be patient.

@ ricaneaga = I will never use win8 so I cannot tell you fully if it will work with that p.o.s. OS or not.

Thank you very much for the interest in updating this addon, and for the answer :D Laughed a little :D

I tried for ~ a month windows 8.1, but decided to drop it when I saw that in windows 9 the start button is back, alongside other ''improvements'' :) So until the first quarter of 2015, windows 7 rocks! ;)
