[Help] Size of file stored in Layout.inf

Post by Nightwolf81 » Thu Mar 01, 2007 3:02 am

I am stuck. . . I need to change this:

logonui.exe = 100,,514560,,,,,2,0,0

To this:

logonui.exe = 100,,688128,,,,,2,0,0

it is stored inside the layout.inf file and everything I've found only allows dosnet and txtsetup files. . . and I can't use file edit because of all the comma's :(

Any experts that can lend a hand. I always thought layout.inf updated the size changes it's self. . . so I am stuck.

Thanks.

You realize that editing layout.inf will break the signature on that file and in turn will break GUI setup, right?

EDIT: Without a hacked syssetup.dll, anyway.

Thanks! I never knew that. . . I'll go with Plan B - Copy it at WPIw at pre logon.

This will suit the purpose of logon selection better anyway. . .

Just trying to find out why this file wasn't editable by the Integrator or nLite, even with a hacked file?
