Post by shahed26 » Sat Aug 18, 2007 9:55 pm

hi everybody!
i want to create an addon for a download manager for my xp, but it must have support for firefox integration automatically, and rapidshare.com, but which download manager is the best considering system resources, as many of them take about 7-10mb system resource.

orbit, and free download manager are very good i heard, so would you people recommend any of this ones.

use DownThemAll

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201

its an addon thats built right into firefox...small, fast, easy. plus if theres a site that doesnt allow using download managers (like rapidshare), its easy to switch to normal downloading.

the top external download managers are Internet Download Manager and Free Download Manager

I like ReGetDeluxe... but it is not free. Allthough it will work free with a countdown after the trial expires.

explorer.exe uses around 30 megs.

firefox eats memory like it's nothing.

i fail to see your point.
