Just place the update files into your source-folder\updates\ directory. They will be installed automatically when O2K7 is installed.

For silent install of O2K7 package, read here.

Adding the hotfixes and updates:

#1 Download them all (Der)
#2 Goto Start --> Run and enter "temp"
#3 Leaving your temp folder open run each fix\update one at a time and COPY the .msp file(s) that appear in your temp folder to the "Updates" folder in your Office07 dir

That will autorun the updates during installation!

It's already been answered by mr_smartepants in this thread, GasPipeJimmy, but if you'd like to see exactly where Kelsenellenelvian replies to shahed26 (as quoted by runningfool87 in its entirety) then you'll have to visit WinCert.

That's what I was looking for!
Thanks.

Yeah, because just putting them in that folder and running the Office 2007 instalation does not do it.

Thanks for the link 5eraph.
I did manage to find WinCert with a Goggle search, but the exact thread that gave detailed instructions wasn't exactly apparent after about 10-15 minutes of reading.

Hi
Under windows vista, i cant seem to find the 'msp' update file in the temp folder when i run the office updates, (leaving the temp folder open)
In vista were does office extracts its updates when installing. i did follow the instructions provided by kels. but i guess the instructions only for xp not vista.

please help

thanks in advance

Try running "tmp" instead of temp.

hi kels
yes i did try running "tmp" but no luck as well, instead i used universal extractor 1.6 beta to extract my updates, and just copied the "msp" file to my office update folder.

thank you
