(REQ} How to Change Taskbar screen position by default

Post by steviewonder » Sun Sep 16, 2007 4:23 pm

I've been making my own silent RocketDock:

It loads at first Desktop and I want to figure out a reg tweak that will
make the windows Default taskbar position be on TOP.

Any ideas?

hey rick, do you know if theres a way to completely remove the taskbar from desktop view, but still be able to access the start menu with the "windows" key?

"Auto-hide the Taskbar" ?? Closest thing you will likely come across without a shell replacement.

yea, the problem is that i keep my rocketdock on the bottom of the screen (which is why i want to get rid of the taskbar in the 1st place), so auto-hide is annoying as the taskbar gets in the way when i mouse over the dock. ive tried registry tweaks too...and a lot of them work, but the problem is they get rid of the start menu too.
