.Net Framework 2.0+3.0+3.5 for ia64, x64 and x86
That's why the size is sooo big ;)

When you decompress the installer you'll see files that seem to indicate .NET 2.0 SP1.

When installed, it says...

.Net 2.0 SP1
.Net 3.0 SP1
.Net 3.5

Bloody ridiculous the situation with this .Net rubbish. I wish people stopped writing their programs and utils in it, as it is a real resource hog at the best of times, and this version is just a monster! Why does a 2Mb utility need 200Mb of files to run? lol

I read somewhere that Microsoft plans to phase out the long-entrenched Win32 API in favor of dotNET variants. Windows Server 2003 began this trend by including dotNET 1.1, and Vista continues by including dotNET 3.0 (a.k.a. WinFX). Exactly where I found this information escapes me, but the rumors are easy to find with Google.

Microsoft also released .Net 2.0 SP1 and .Net 3.0 SP1 standalone.
