Stretch Wallpaper By Default?

Post by incith » Mon Nov 28, 2005 9:02 am

I'd like to have the wallpaper set to 'Stretch' mode by default.. the theme is loaded by default, so I could put an entry into the .theme if possible, or into one of the winnt.sif or .inf files in I386..

Edit: Oh, and if there's an easy way to set 3D-White as the default mouse cursor set. :)

I found this site: http://www.debbiesthemes.com/utilities/utilities.html which is proving useful. :)

Edit: Putting the code here in case the above site ever dies. (note this site seems based around win9x)

Code: Select all

[Control Panel\Desktop]
WallPaper=%ThemeDir%Song of the Dwarves\Song of the Dwarves Wallpaper.jpg
TileWallPattern=0
Pattern=
ScreenSaveActive=0
TileWallpaper=0
WallpaperStyle=2
This is the visual section. This is set to NOT tile a pattern (0), there is no pattern, no screensaver is active(0), wallpaper is not tiled(0), and wallpaper is stretched to fill the screen (2). If you have a screensaver that works with your theme, change ScreenSaveActive=1 and specify the saver (see below).
