File Host

Post by user_hidden » Tue Dec 20, 2011 12:22 pm

Looking for a FREE file host, as it seems mediafire has made account
statistics part of a PAID service! so i don't get file download counts anymore.

so want a service comparable that has statistics free.
service is free and end user downloading is easy and free.

let me know any opinions.

I'm using 4shared.

good points:15 gB free space, download counter, files can be updated without to change the link,
folders like structure, 4shared desktop app to remotely administrate yours files,
shared and non-shared folders.

bad points: time waiting, depending on size of download.(like allmost all)

At this time i'm satisfied by services offered by free 4shared.

Has this already started with your mediafire account?
And by statistics, do you mean stats other than total number of DLs?

My account still shows the download numbers, but we are in different regions and it seems some policies are region dependent.

Just do what I do. Use bit.ly or goo.gl. Free statistics.

Then use whatever hosting service you want. Personally, I like Megaupload.

thanks for the replies guys/gals.

i'll check into what some have suggested and others.

@DumpyDooby -> didn't know about those.

what a surprise I got statistics back on my mediafire account today!
i won't even ask why or how, just hope it will stay in the mean time.

I also use Mediafire and statistics are still there.... Maybe they had some temporary problems?

Megaupload is also not bad although files are deleted if no one downloads them for a month or so.
