Request PLEASE: POST-SP3 Update Pack with MSIE6 Updates
Hi all:
Does anyone have a update pack with:
MSIE6 (Plus updates) DON'T LIKE MSIE7
MS NET 2.0
Newest AC3 Filter (for DVD video)
ALL MS Patches as of 7-1-08
I have an SP3 without MSIE and MS- NET 3 & 4.5
Thanks for your time and effort!
BTW: DYK SP3 updates well in WinXP SAFE MODE?
Warmest Regards, Donald

Ryan is working on his Post-SP3 pack right now. AFAIK no one includes IE7 in their update packs unless it pecifically states it is an AIO. A couple of weeks ago I used redxii's update pack with no problem.
So either wait for Ryan's pack or use redxii's http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5687
Then add dotnet AIO http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4523 (make your own addon around this installer)
And Siginet's AC3 addon http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1515
If you have never made an addon before just take apart Siginet's addon (or anyone's for that matter) to see how it is structured.
You may not have intended it, but your post sounded to me almost like an order for the Drive-Thru Window at your local McD's. Remember, folks here do not (and cannot) simply whip up an update pack just because a solitary person requests one. They post them as they finish building and testing them, which takes a lot of time and effort on their part. You can generally find what you're looking for with a little time spent searching the forum.

Slow to do.
Yo Dude:
I dislike McDonalds. No, I know these addons are hard to make!
I merely know many love these things and asked "if it's out there, anybody have any success?
Thanks, Donald.

Man there's Opera, Firefox, Safari, Chrome! They're all safer, faster, easier than IE.don1959nLite wrote: MSIE6 (Plus updates) DON'T LIKE MSIE7
