Looks like they will push this till March ... so no updates in Jan or Feb, seems like there may be other things happening !?!?

Yeah, but why hold off all the other fixxes. They should release these fixxes and get the SMB as soon as they can

We should not believe any more MS ! . If they can include spyware in 10 then why?to believe .
as to me it is better to get 3rdparty malware than 1stparty what do you think?
for serious security concerned person FFY yaari or Hitman pro alert is best tool .

I say there has got to be something else going on. There is no way they could NOT have any updates for two months now. My intuition says something else is afoot!

This is just my thoughts not facts. All though I think I heard rumors that even though the win 10 upgrade was indeed free, they are planning charging an annual user fee. The amounts very depending on what version you are using, and I believe it starts at $100for home and $200 for premium and probably more for businesses. Don't quote me on this please. I repeat, merely conjector and based on rumors.

"Make sure that the selected folder or drive contains the i386 AMD64 directory and proper installation files.". I am getting this when i'm trying to select POSReady2009 folder with extracted installation files. This happens with both nlite and ryanvm integrator. What's wrong with this Windows?

You need to copy your WinXP source CD to your hard drive, then select the folder with those files on your hard drive.

please don't give up...

i know that i have had the best success by slipstreaming my WinXP (i have both 32bit and 64bit) from inside a 32bit VirtualBox WinXP SP3...
for me, i have not been able to use OnePiece's Update Pack for my slipstreaming because nLite doesn't see .net 2.0 as being installed...

I am still getting that error and i don't know why...what i am supposed to do now? It's just nlite that doesn't work with that Windows...and so for ryanvm integrator..

are you copying the install cd/dvd to your hard drive?
what version of Windows are using?
what version of Windows are you slipstreaming?

you MUST use an "original" Microsoft install cd/dvd...
you can NOT use one that you found as a "download"...

POSReady2009 *FOLDER* ???
this sound like your problem, do not "extract" the POSReady2009 that you downloaded...
it will be *ONE FILE*, not a "folder"...
you integrate the *FILE*...

and you have to integrate it AFTER the non-POS update pack...

what is your *LIST* of addons that you are integrating and in what ORDER are you integrating them?
personally, i *ONLY* use nLite, i'm not a fan of RVMi because i have to run it ten/twelve times just to make ONE installation dvd...

I just bought a Eset Nod32 Av license for 1Pc, 3 Years for $15.00 on ebay, still using the best which is v8.0.319.0

I recently tryed the latest version of 10, which is not good with Xp at all, slow slow slow. It does use less ram/pagefile, but, very boggy feeling, added latency thru entire system. V8 is light feeling and has good (Smart) HIPS.

Yes, I like v7 also, but v8 does have better HIPS, thus I use this. If you dont use hips, then sticking with v7 is better, just marginally though

just make a RunOnce addon with it
For 100% silent install use: /ai /gm2

also make sure you have c++ 2005 installed before .net pack installs
