usbstor.sys is only installed when needed. You may have checked MU before plugging-in your USB drive. The update would appear to be installed at that time because the registry entries for KB3139398 would be proof enough it had been installed. Then, after plugging-in your USB drive, usbstor.sys would be copied out of driver.cab--the OLD version. When next you checked MU it would detect the mismatched file version and offer the update.

Okay, I replaced the old usbstor.sys in drivers\ and dllcache\ and ran another scan. No new offers.

Both work well for this addon, Dibya. It's a matter of your own personal preference.

I've never seen driverpacks for XPx64. You may have to try nLite with the drivers you want.

It may interest you to know that nLite and RVMi use the same ISO engine: mkisofs.exe

YumeYao's WMP11 addon is not up to date, dudeuk. KB3033890 and KB3067903 for WMP11 are needed to make it so.

Alternatively you could try Boooggy's WMP11 Slipstreamer with the necessary update packages, which will not introduce bugs with any version of Internet Explorer the way that YumeYao's WMP11 addon will.
long-lurker wrote:[...] my IE no longer shows the "new topic" or the "update post" buttons on this forum (among MANY other types of similar no-show images on pretty much ALL web sites)

web sites also no longer "flow into place"
meaning what used to by 1/2" high on the screen is now 1.25" high instead
and what used to be 2" left to right is now filled with empty space and taking up 4"

dudeuk, I have an updated YumeYao Addon (v3.5.1) with the two fixes mentioned. You can download it here.
I have not noticed any problems with IE when I use it. You might want to give it a try.

You're welcome. :)

The changelog is up to date. What do you believe is missing, Stormit? This month's scheduled updates from Microsoft won't drop until Tuesday, April 12th @17:00 UTC--roughly 43 hours from now.

What issue are you having with Windows Update? Does this have anything to do with your last post in harkaz's thread?
Stormit wrote:I'm not getting any auto updates again. Does anybody else have this problem. Is there another fix for this. Again Thank You for everything.
The following solution has worked for me in the past. Open a CMD window, then enter the commands below to reset the Automatic Updates service in Windows:
net stop wuauserv
"%SystemRoot%\system32\regsvr32" "%SystemRoot%\system32\wups2.dll"
net start wuauserv
This solution is adapted from the one posted on Tom Carpenter's blog to include the proper paths.

x64 systems also need the following command for the 32-bit process. It should be run between the net commands listed above.
"%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\regsvr32" "%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\wups2.dll"

If you're using OnePiece's update pack, Stormit, then his thread may have a more suitable list.

5eraph,

I used the flash removal add-on for the first time and got a harmless error message during setup at T-08. Setup could not find the file specified for creating the update task for flash. I did follow the directions given in the Details for the removal add-on. Integrating the removal addon last in a separate run after all other integrations. I took a glance at the inf's in the POS add-on, userhidden's update pack, and the entries file in the removal add-on but nothing caught my eye as to the cause of that error message. Just thought you should know. It just brakes the flow of unattended setup.

I haven't made an addon for OnePiece's update pack, mainly because skrell has said it is possible to use Onepiece's DX Universal UpdatePack/Addon Creator with Atari800xl's instructions. So... I haven't yet tried to make one.

Also, I don't know how OnePiece integrates and updates .NET.

The binaries in this addon should be the same as those that are used for OnePiece's update pack. But our methods differ. One difference is how we integrate time zone updates. Another is how we structure our INF files. If you look at entries_POSUpdates.ini in this addon, you'll see how user_hidden's INF is altered to remove registry entries for superseded updates. It would have to be different to work with OnePiece's INF.

PM sent.

@Offtopic
Hi 5eraph, it's very simple http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... 164#140164 however just search in NetFxXX.inf an earlier\previous hotfix (KBxxxx) to see what registry adds, to be 1000% ok

about timezone http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... 545#120545 however, just run the DXUPAC.exe and take everything from OPMWXPUP.inf (in other words, there does all the DXUPAC.exe)

Ciao.
