You definitely used to though. I'm not too sure what happened. FrogASPI works brilliant for me I must say! :)

I have a question
Will I have a problem with this if I install AutoIt v3.2.10.0 by svcpack?

you might consider to change the versioning system, ie. add a minor revision number (like 3.8.1 or whatever-the-design-you-want) for little things like AutoItX, OpenSSL updates

I think it will be less confusing for everybody, including yourself ;) (MSVC 2008 integration is far more important than an AutoItX update)

and it will stop version numbers growing too fast :lol:

I couldn't agree more. x.y.z-r1

where r1,r2,r3 should be release rebuilds in case of inf errors.

-build1, build2 (notepad++) and so on are more meant for betas

I uploaded KB934031 Japanese at Xable's hotfix share. It includes english files in vcredist_x86.exe. Would you like me to send you this file?

If you go back to page 1 and click on the download itself you'll be provided with a list of what's included - verify the files you're looking for from there.

Hi Kels. You can find a newer version of OpenAL32.dll (6.14.465.0)
inside of a NVIDIA driver. Just unrar the installer and go to AudioDrv folder. I think is better to download the untouched file.
Cheers.

I followed the link and the download is called Visual C++ 2008 Feature Pack Redistributable as opposed to the earlier verion not having the 'Feature Pack' as part of the name. Is there a difference and/or does the latest, version 9.0.30404.0, supersede the former, version 9.0.21022?

:shock:

I don't know if this is appropo for the runtime pack or not, but how about this .dll:

wiaaut.dll, available from msft in the package WIAAutSDK.zip

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... EA32537E29

Just need to be able to copy the dll into system32 and register it (RegSvr32 WIAAut.dll).

This .dll is often, but not always, loaded/registered by driver software for scanners, web cams, and digital cameras. It can be thought of as MSFTs equiv of a TWAIN driver. Lots of newer scanners are WIA Automation 'compatible' these days.

Atually after looking into it I think it would be best as a seperate addon or even in my uberpack...

I will do a seperate addon tonight.

@Kel

Would this link at ActiveWin about the "Feature Pack" be of any use to at least work out what it's all about?

Spotted cygwin1.dll v1005.25.0.0 in Aircrack-NG v0.9.3.

I read on a few pages that cygwin1.dll superseeds cygwinb19.dll, can anyone confirm?

I hardly think that using a cracking tool as an 'example' of where to find code is appropriate for this site.

Aircrack is a common white hat security tool. Quite frankly, if you're using anything less than WPA2-PSK to secure your wireless then you might as well call it public domain.
...aircrack is a set of tools for auditing wireless networks.
The application itself is not illegal, even though it may have illegal uses.

@Kell: thanks for the update.
@ENU_user: thanks for you explanation. I was only thinking that it would be possible that no program uses this file anymore because they can all work with the newer one, so it become totally useless. But you're right, if someone run across one app that use this it has to be still included in the Runtimes Pack.
