NOT Auto... After you first boot or whenever you feel like it you can Remove the Logoff and Shutdown Text, then at a Later Date Restore the Text if you so choose.

Redownload found and fixed Issue creating shortcut for LSPatch 1.1.exe...

ProfileItem was broken by the space in between LSPatch and 1.1.exe, solved problem by using underscore "_"

By the way, what theme is it you're using in that screenshot?

Rick - this has failed for me every time in a virtual machine - complains that there is no i386 directory and asks to insert the CD.

Tested today on 3 real builds and I get exactly the same result.

It does appear in the program list and I did redownload after you posted about the typo. Any ideas?

My apologies Rick - this worked perfectly when I tried this on another PC. For some reason this fails in VM Ware with me every time and also fails on my old AMD system with the same error. Had the opportunity to try it on an old Celeron based laptop and it worked exactly as it should - using the same install CD. This makes no sense to me but proves the addon works.

I've made 2 cd's with this already. I love this patch, as well as the Recycle Bin patch.

Any chance of combining the two?

PS: Think you could make a version of this which would install with the LS patched by default (but still make it able to un-patch)?

I figured I'd post this here since there have been quite a few requests to see if an addon like this can/could be converted over to a PatchAddon.

It _can_.......by a hellacious extension of work. Because LSPatch removes information, it shortens the file, meaning that all information after the change has to be completely re-written.

And I'm not going to do it. :)

Figured I post this here where it is a tad more relevant, especially since I'm housecleaning the PatchAddon's thread.
