Reason I asked was that ricktendo64's add-on has a bug. Don't know if yours does the same or not?

This is working perfectly with 2.1.7 so I have dropped back to this after tracking down Ricks addon as causing the rogue device manager entry.

@Kel:

I have integrated and installed this addon several times and each time the sound files are installed to the %SystemRoot%\Media folder while the Registry entries for the sounds are written as %SystemRoot%\Sounds...needless to say the sounds don't work until they are moved to that folder or until the registry entries are corrected....and I prefer the sounds.....

Just thought you'd like to know..... :wink:

BTW: It would be delightful if this theme offered "The Orb" in place of (or as an alternative to) the Start button and if it could install the Logon and Shutdown "black theme" screens from the "Darkside" addon to Xpize.... :rolleyes: .....(maybe :?: )

Updated.

As for adding those things in and making it more of a tranformation pack I am interested yet undecided so I will think on it.

@Kel

Thanks for the update!

I do not want a transformation pack either - rather keep the XP based "imagery" for logon/logoff/shutdown but with the "Noir" based color concept - since that is what this theme/pack is all about.

For the Start button - well, let's face it, the Orb is definitely "spiffier" and offers a nice but simple change from an appearance point of view. The Start button adds visual clutter to the taskbar due to its text - the Orb is simpler and, without the Quick Launch toolbar, gives a really clean and simple presentation to the taskbar. And, within the Noir color scheme, the Orb colors are a wonderfully colorful contrast to the blacks.

Anyway - thanks again!
