i got this issue while using the wmp11 slipstreamer using the tweaked feature on mce 05 that had ryan vm's pack integrated.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File: "easycd.inf" (EasyCDBlock.inf) not found.
at WMP11Slipstreamer.Backend.CompressFiles()
at WMP11Slipstreamer.MainGUI.workerMethod(Object addonSettings)

Is there all updates for WMP11?

all those are already integrated in the slipstreamer (7i) ... i think even with 6i (?) ... you may get wmp11 HFs from here: http://hotfix.xable.net/board/index.php?showtopic=84 ... you can try integrating it just the same (when in doubt if slipstreamer 7i has all those already

) via its new feature of direct HF integration ...

@boooggy,

With each new release you put out, I always Reshack the icon, and undo the tweak which reverts back to the classic menus.

It's personal preference, I know. And I know anyone can do that themselves. (I'm not bugging you to add an alternate version.) But some people CAN'T do this for themselves.

I would just like to know if I could have your permission to post the one I use? (Full credit and "thank you's" to you, of course)

I'm trying to integrate WMP11 in to the clean sources of WinXP SP2 Corp using Windows Media Player 11 Slipstreamer 0.71 and have an error:

â WMP11Slipstreamer.Backend.CompressFiles()
â WMP11Slipstreamer.MainGUI.workerMethod(Object addonSettings)

Deleting "G:\VRMPVOL_RU\i386\wmp11temp"... Done!

The source being modified has not been damaged.
All changes have been successfully reverted.

I'm using all official fix's for WMP11 from this page.
Seems what en error caused last fix - KB935957.

That is because this fix does not add any files, just a reg entry to remove the nero plugin, so adding this is completely useless. I designed the slipstreamer to look for this section in each update's UPDATE.INF file to determine which files to overwrite.

It is a minor issue that it fails if it is not found, but i will make it continue anyway in such conditions next version. The solution now is not to integrate it. That hotfix is completely useless.

And as the error says, it is completely safe to retry on the same source as error in this point is 100% recoverable.

I have an issue...

- I'm using script (nircmd cdrom open) to eject XPCD after setup finishes.
...but when i open your wmp11 addon it pops up errors with title like: "unregwmp" asking me to enter XPCD in the drive.

I put this script at the end of nlite.cmd.

The addon is great for me except that issue.

Hey, booogy! Great work on your WMP11 add-on!

If WMP11 is integrated with XP MCE, Update Roll-Up 2 doesn't install because it's looking for WMP10 components. I've gotten around that by unpacking and scripting a work-around that skips the update that causes the problem. I also recall there being some discussion about a MCE version of WMP11 that would solve this problem. I can't find any reference to such an add-on. What's up with that?

Additionally, after I installed MCE with your WMP11 add-on integrated, I installed the Update Rollup 2 and April 2006 update. Windows Update began listing a copy of WMP11 for MCE. Is there some difference between your add-on and WMP11 for MCE? Does the slipstreamer take care of the issue(s)?

Is this the dreaded KB935957 Hotfix issue again?
When I remove it, that error goes away.

The other 8 Hotfixes seemed to install just fine.

Suggestion(s): At the end can we have a quick dialog box that says the process is finished?

Also, I get a security warning when integrating all of the hotfixes. When I uncheck the box that says not to ask about this file again, it goes away when I reintigrated it.

Other than those things, this is very nice work boooggy!

for mce i recommend using slipstreamer.
use ryans update pack and when u get to install update rollup unpack the rollup using winrar
and u will find a 900325.exe. this is needed. then install october update for rollup (925766) and u will have no problem....

You can preview the Icons in the slipstremer itself.

since im integrating the tweaked WMP addon lastly among some other addons tested!, can you or anyone tell what other addons are incompatible, to cause quicklaunch and themes to break
or do i need vanilla version, i didnt fully test wmp addons stand alone yet

as for quick launch i never heard of such an issue....

third i dont know what other addons are incompatible as long as i didnt build that ones..

Encounter a problem with version 1.4.7:

setuperr.log complains about drmclien.dll not beeing registred.

Used XP Pro SP2 with and without RVM 2.1.10

RVM Integrator 1.4.3 used for integration.

Version 1.4.6 didn´t show this error.

Hi boooggy, about the addons: those are compatible with RVM integrator, right? I don't need to use your slipstreamer, right? I'm using RVM 1.4.3.

Sorry if this is a dumbass n00b question, all the wmp11 integration options are kind of confusing. I just want something I can integrate with the RVM integrator, just like Ryan's wmp10 addon.
