I am sorry but both Ryan and I decided not to support the cracked version anymore.

You could easily modify it to contain the files yourself though...

Ok here is some pics.
Kewl, thanks. I might just have to finally download this pack if for only the "power menu". I really like the way that looks, maybe it will also help me figure out how to move a few on my main menu to it that I don't use all that much and get in my way.

Rookit doesn't work...

Post by soms84 » Mon Dec 12, 2005 2:44 pm

Hi Kel,

I thank you for this great pack, and i've been using it since v3.9.
Recently i tried your pack, first by integrating with the RVM integrator and then slimming down the OS with nlite.
However at installation, it shows an error, and by the name I assume it is the rookit revealer.
it says: Setup cannot copy the file rtktrvlr.exe
I tried making my CD twice and i get the same problem.
maybe you can take a look at it.
Thank you very much

I was wondering why UnDoReg wasn't included with Regshot.
The idea behind it seems good considering what Regshot does.
the link to undoreg: http://www.woundedmoon.org/win32/undoreg.html

Is it worthless?

Hi Kel ,
Hope you can help with a problem a friend of mines is having. He tried a windows disc I loaned him and on his machine after installign MSN messenger and rebooting all the shell extensions are all messed up there no longer under powertweaks, its the same when he clicks on files and folders I told him to use startup montior to check and see if mmm.exe had been disabled but there wastn even any entries there for it

it looked like this

Image

I made him a reg file containg

Code: Select all

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"KelsPakSoft"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\mmm.exe"
after a reboot things are fine now , just wanted to post this incase someone had any similar problems

MauS -

You probably have a damaged file.

Grab this app\extension: [link]

To check the hash.

Kel -

By the way that would make a fine addition to your uber pack. ;)

Sorry ... don't really understand ... I would like to be able to uninstall the programmes easily e.g. so that I can use the latest version if it comes out. For those 'uninstallable', are they truly uninstallable? Thanks in advance.

They're only truely uninstallable if he didn't include the uninstall files with them otherwise, just because you can't see the install in your add/remove you should still be able to use the programs uninstaller in it's folder or in %SystemRoot% to uninstall it.

Hey Kel,

In case you weren't already aware & a heads up needed, Unlocker 1.7.8 has been released. :)
Sounds like a very useful & important update too from the changelog... specifically the supposed speed increase & bug fixes :D
Cheers

Unlocker 1.7.8 - 21/01/2006

- New language: Slovenian thanks to Aleksander 'Quattro' Hropot
- Improved code: Unlocker is now much faster to list handles and to appear. Between 2x and 30x faster depending on the situation. Thanks to schwit for reporting the problem and testing my fixes
- Improved code: Rewrote part of the driver
- Fixed bug: Some processes and their handles were missing depending on their accessing rights, this is fixed now, and ZoneAlarm temporary files handles appear in Unlocker for example. Again thanks to schwit for reporting the problem and testing my fixes
- Fixed bug: If a cd or dvd was removed and a handle was existing, an annoying explorer dialog box would appear and the handle could not be listed
- Fixed bug: Miscellaneous buffers bugs
